Well, this thread is about religion. More like faith, actually. It's something we haven't really discussed here, and I think it may be productive to do so. Here's my story:
For the past few years, I've been doing my own thing in the way of religious faith. I didn't belong to anything in particular, I was just believing what I wanted. Then, my life changed when I met a certain guy. Yes, this is the guy that brought on my "Love triangles suck" thread. Since we met last October, we've been having discussions every so often about this topic. He is a very strong Christian and it disturbed him that I did not know Jesus. It bothered me for the longest time, because I just wished he would accept that I didn't believe the same things as he did. He was persistent though, and exactly one month ago tomorrow, on February 19, was when I finally decided to start considering accepting Christianity. It wasn't easy for me to swallow my pride and admit that I was possibly wrong, but I did it, and finally, this past Wednesday, March 15, my boyfriend helped me pray to God and ask for salvation. I can already feel that I am a different person than I was before, and I am so grateful to him for being patient as I adjusted and guiding me in the right direction.
So now, I'd like to hear what any of you have to say about this. Don't be shy! Speak up!
