Yes indeed, I have just been sucked into a love triangle. See, one of my closest friends has a huge crush on this guy, and this guy just told me last night that he has a thing for me. It made me feel bad because the guy really seemed to like me and was complimenting me a lot (which embarrassed me a bit), but I don't feel the same way about him. Plus my friend really likes him, so I don't want to tell her about it, but I feel guilty too...
As I said, love triangles suck.

-sigh- If only.... But it appears he had a thing for me from the beginning. He's already said no to her... And today he asked me this really loaded question, kind of like the way a girl might ask a guy if he thinks she's pretty. You lose no matter what you say. I just got so mad that he had the nerve to do that... I blocked him.

I hope im never in a love triangle, but I would tell your friend cuz I mean....if I was ever in one and I completly liked a girl but she liked some other guy I would really wana know so I could work things out. I have to add...also I would like the girl to tell me that she did not like me straight up and not make me pine over her for a wile  the guy allready did that to your friend so she is kinda lucky because now she does not have some false hope |

Yeah, that's kind of the reason I want to tell her, but at the same time, I know that'd make her more upset than she already is... So I'm a little bit afraid to...
Edit: I'm really in the hole now... It turns out my mind was fooling me this whole time.... I do have feelings for this guy... I told him... Now we have to figure out what to do about my friend. God, I feel horrible...

umm... well. that royally sucks... i don't see a good way out of this one. seems like you either have to deny the guy, lose your friend, or somehow work it out between them. then again, if she's a true friend, she'd probably be glad for you. then again, romance has never been my strong suit. i've got a terminal case of Nice Guy Syndrome.

Aww... But girls love nice guy syndrome! (At least all the ones I know...) Anyway, I've talked it over with him and we figured I should tell my friend myself and if she has too much of a problem with it, I won't go out with him. My friend is more important...

Well, I suppose one can call this issue resolved. I got to talking to my friend. (I was sadly forced to do it over aim because my other friend kind of spilled it. I'm actually a bit mad at her...) And she said that it hurts, but she'll get over it and she wants me to date this guy if it'll make me happy. Then there was the parents issue... It was a bit iffy because I'm a freshman and he's a senior, but they okayed it. Anyway, I'm pretty happy now. ;D Thanks to both of you for offering your help/support.
