A role play is something akin to writing a story. Only when writing this story, you only control one character's view and actions, leaving the others to the other players. You create the character, ((or use a canon, keep reading for info on that)), their personality and looks. You craft their back story, and consider what they may want for the future. You then immerse them in the world of the RP you are in ((in this case the world of Harry Potter)), and post how they interact with this world and the people within it. That, in essence, is role play.

imho, THE best site for RPing is s9.invisionfree.com/rp_infinitethere's several RP's going already, and you can start one on pretty much anything. shows, movies, books, games, even original ones. we could use some new members... there's a core group of about... six or seven of us, as well as a few people who pop in randomly. |
