Let me know what you think! Her statue lay in a darkened place. An angel girl with a frozen face. Her name was written on a plated rock, An 'unforgiven' that the world forgot. He sat next to her stoned figure and stared, With no feelings at all, no thoughts prepared. Deperation of hope too late to be found. Memories played like a film without sound. Alive in his heart, the boy only knew: This couldn't be the end, but the start of a challenge new. Her eyes pleaded freedom, and he would obey. Do what he must, whatever it would take. Friends forever, Always together. Through sunshine, sleet, hail, and rain, He would save her from the casted spell of pain. Kinda short, I know.

You stole most of that from "Concrete Angel". In general, good poem. If only I haven't heard such a large percentage of it from another source...

What? The first four lines I had seen before, but I changed them, and added on. The rest is my own.

The first 4 lines are from the Martina Mcbride song "Concrete Angel". Here's the lyrics:
Martina McBride - Concrete Angel Lyrics
She walks to school with the lunch she packed Nobody knows what she's holdin' back Wearin' the same dress she wore yesterday She hides the bruises with linen and lace
The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask It's hard to see the pain behind the mask Bearing the burden of a secret storm Sometimes she wishes she was never born
Through the wind and the rain She stands hard as a stone In a world that she can't rise above But her dreams give her wings And she flies to a place where she's loved Concrete angel
Somebody cries in the middle of the night The neighbors hear, but they turn out the lights A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate When morning comes it'll be too late
[Repeat Chorus]
A statue stands in a shaded place An angel girl with an upturned face A name is written on a polished rock A broken heart that the world forgot
[Repeat Chorus]

No,that's a great thing in this case. This is like "Evanescence 'My Immortal'" kind of weeping over a song, not "ARGH,SIMPLE PLAN! MUST KILL MYSELF NOOOOOOOWWWWWWW" kind of weeping
