what's going on in Beast Boy's brain

i have a few theories about beast boy

theory one: i believe that Beast Boy is smarter then he seem to be.

Reason: despite the fan fiction angle on the intelligence factor he is the son of two scientist providing him genetically with high intelligence then you are probably asking why does he break everything. it is simple he is not technologically sound meaning he has a high intelligence but not in that field. his field would be probably stationed around the animal kingdom henceforth a biologist and he probably has a database of animal stored in his skull plus the ability to speak their language. so he is highly intelligent.

theory two: the jokes

Reason: Garfield Logan parents died when he was young and it being Green skinned didn't help either, then a short gap in the superhero saga in the cartoon universe that has giving most of the BB and Rae authors to play <insert trouble past here> where you think of a back story honestly i use and or try to use the comic back story. he then meets up with the Doom patrol and know Mento who reminds me of a white Jules Winfield meaning no jokes what so ever. then they eventually meet in Go which i haven't seen yet it's a Canadian thing i can't explain what that is right now. back to the theory his jokes are according to some people a defense mechanism that he uses to cheer himself up, then one day he fell in love with Raven *coughspellboundcough* and saw it was she never smiled at all or except on a few occasions so the defense mechanism has turn to a mission of hope and that is why Beast Boy tell jokes.

I think what goes on in Beast Boy's head is "How do I get the ladies to like me,Raharu would be sweet to know because she has a Vespa,and will Raven laugh at me today?"

I think that beast boy is like every 'clown' you've ever known...
he's a lot deeper than you may think at first, his rough past makes him REALLY sensitive. he's also a great secret-keeper and he's an absolute sucker for a girl who is immune to his jokes, that's why he loves Raven. He is absolutely a HUGE softie, and has probably been called gay more than a couple of times.
