"All I'm saying is that if we reveal to her that Slade has ties to a certain demon, and keep hidden that the Logan girls are 1/4 demon, then we may be able to convince Ella to help us free whichever Logan Slade has. And she only threatened you because you got in the way. Besides, I wouldn't let anything happen to you."

"Well, the only way I know is gonna be a bit scary... Come on up to the roof." Once the Titans arrived on the top of the tower, Saro threw his cloak, hat, and weapons to the side. "Stand back." The vampire suddenly shifted his body to the darkest black, and began to grow and morph. The black blob took the shape of a giant black dragon. The Shadow Drake blew green fire into the sky, sending up a signal asking for a peaceful meeting with the Paladin.

Saro quickly assumed his normal form, then began looking about. Then he stopped. "She's here..."

Ella appears on the ledge of the Tower looking over at Saro with a sneer.
"What do you want this time?"

"Okay, Ella? We need to talk. The thing is... I'm back with the Titans, as you can see. And I think we can reawaken our treaty, don't you? Oh, and by the way, we can even help each other. You know Slade, right? Anyway, he's got ties to a demon you may be familiar with. You've heard of Trigon, correct?"

Ella sighs and steps down from the ledge.
"yes I've heard of Trigon." she says. "What has Slade done this time, or maybe I should just stay out of this and wait til you are done."

"Slade's demonic. He's supposed to be dead. But before Trigon died... some of his powers transmitted to Slade. Now Slade's trying to reawaken those powers. He's got one of our friends, too. Now, I know you're after me, but if we can work together just this once, you get a chance at Slade and we can get our friend back."

"There's more going on here than I know. There's something more... I think Slade may have reformed HIVE and revived Overload, Plasmus, and Cinderblock. Any one group alone would be hard enough, alone or with my team. With all of them together, there's no way we can get in, not without help. You've probably got the best chance of getting in there. Oh, and don't doubt them. They're better than they look."

Ella looks confused over at Saro. "You want me to join the HIVE as a spy?" Ella looks shocked. "My years of training and experience ...to become a lowly spy?"
