From the Titans Tower website:
David Slack on TEEN TITANS: TOKYO
I recently caught up with Producer David Slack, who confirmed the title of the Teen Titans Direct-To-Video project. “I just finished a revised draft on that. The title is TEEN TITANS TOKYO. And that’s all I’ll say! It’s not an origin episode. And it’s not a villain we’ve seen before. And it features the five Titans we know and love. And this one is wholly original. It’s a story I cooked up with Glen [Murakami]; We also had some help from Sam Register, Paul Levitz at DC Comics – and of course, Rob [Hoegee] and Amy [Wolfram]. I worked on that while Rob and Amy concentrated on season five.”
Look for more information on TEEN TITANS: TOKYO as it develops!

It is a movie: either 60 or 90 minutes long and made by the same crew that does the animated series. I dunno if it will be crappy as I can't see into the future.

i want it to be in cinemas, but whenever it comes to a cartoon movie my dad's like "i already took you to see pokemon" WHICH WAS BLOODY YEARS AGO AND HE ALWAYS USES THAT AS A FECKING EXCUSE WHENEVER I WANT HIM TO TAKE ME TO SEE A CARTOON MOVIE WHICH PISSES ME OFF . WHEN I SAY JUST DROP ME OFF AT THE CINEMA MY PARENTS SAY "were not driving 30 miles to exeter just so you can watch a film" AND THEN THE NEXT d**n DAY THEY GO TO EXETER ANYWAY Sry BUT I JUST REALLY PISSES ME OFFand as i said its 30 miles away so i can't just walk

It's direct-to-video and dvd anyway, so the movies won't be a problem. But man, that's gotta suck having the movie theater 30 miles away, bogbrush. I have to say though, I don't agree about Puffy Amiyumi being crap. I went to their concert a couple weeks ago and it was seriously great. The theme song is freaking awesome when you see it live. Plus they have a ton of other great songs.

The nearest movie theatre to me is 8 miles.
The theme song makes me want to cry. I love the show so much but hate the song just as much.
Japanese version of said theme is tolerable.
