well true and they didn't show other X-men chracters like nightcrawlerand gambit. Mystique was only in it for about 10 minutes.

If I'm going to go with the next film...hmm..

Iceman
Colossus
Beast
Angel
Toss in Gambit as a bit player for the team meet up with and have Wolverine leave to do his own thing.
Maybe have Magneto be back to normal or possibly the cure be a temporary thing to begin with.
