In Robin's room, Ella looks over at Skid. "Stay here where he won't he back okay?" Skid just nods.
Ella turns on a comunicator and starts talking. "I have Slade trapped in the last room up here where the bedrooms are. I know you said this guy was crazy but" Ella looks over at Robin's body and shakes her head. "I thought you were being figurative"

Richard turns around and smiles at Saro and smiles.
"I'm finished here Saro. I don't need to speak with you. Let me pass."

"I don't think so." Saro threw out his hand, and a black mist swirled around Richard. He was temporarily paralyzed. The vampire fired several of the immobilizer blobs at the boy, then bent down to look at his eyes. "Now I'll show you why I wear goggles." Saro reached up and slowly took his goggles off. The amber eyes beneath glowed with chaos. Richard trembled as he felt his mind begin to snap. The last thing he heard was Saro's voice. "Just be glad I can reverse it..."

Katana opened her eyes. She limped out of the Saro's room with her Sword as a cane.
"Saro-kun where are you?" Katana called out.

Saro sensed Katana awaken, and scooped Rich up. He warped to the common room, set him down, warped to his room, grabbed Katana in a carry by looping his arms behind her back and under her knees, and warped back to the common room. Setting the injured girl down gingerly, Saro proceeded to key up a number on the vid-phone. The screen came up, but there was no one there. "Ro- no, Nightwing?"

She stared at the screen.

Saro grinned back. "Don't mention it." Then his expression morphed to one of sadness. "But we have a terrible problem. Robin is... is... dead. Killed in her sleep by her own brother. Now I have to explain to Richard- Nightwing- that his son killed his daughter. And woe be it to whomever has to break the news to Star. Richy-Rich over there is temporarily insane, thanks to my eyes. And I'm just trying to get in touch with Nightwing, break the news. Oh, one other thing. You may wanna take a look at that chakra on Richard."

Richard pops onto the screen wearing a 'Kiss the Cook' apron and baker's hat.
He grins at the group."I'm trying to teach Starfire to cook again!"
He instantly drops his cheery gaze when he notices how bad the team looks. "What is going on over there? Where is Robin? I just assumed this was her calling."

"This is horrible. I was hoping that Richard was was some how controled by Slade................." She said talking to Saro.
Katana then closely examined the chakra. Feeling the energy of her sister. "Er I don't know much about Chakras but...I think it may give him Shadow Logan's powers. Slade in that transmition said he was using her powers."
She truned away crying.
"I can't believe this has happend, on the first day"

Saro summoned up his strength. "Richard, I have horrible news. You knew that your son had turned to Slade and become his apprentice. Well, I caught him in the tower tonight. Unfortuneately, I had to drive him temporarily insane to stop him. But that's not the worst. He... he... Robin is... HE KILLED HER!" Saro couldn't stop his tears, and glistening drops of water slid past his goggles. "I'M SORRY, RICHARD! I wasn't fast enough... I could have saved her..."

"I couldn't either" Katana said choking on her sobs.
"He confronted me first. He threaten to Kill Logan-San-. He injured me and I ran! I WAS A COWARD. I had no other choices. I didn't think he would kill her!" She said losing control. Random things in the tower exploded. Luna didn't notice.
"I AM SO SORRY!"

Robin looks over at Saro and Katana. He then looks away and throws his bakers hat onto the ground.
"I want you to take Richard to the police and have him locked up for murder." He looks over at Kori off screen and sighs. "This is my fault for letting her do this." Richard pulls the apron off his chest. "Kori, we need to go do some stuff in town, get the car ready dear."
Kori can be heard screaming in a happiest of voice. "This is glorious! we can show Caysie the cake we are making!"
Richard puts his hands over his face and just shouts. "I don't think we can. I'll explain on the way" He looks up at Saro obviously hurting from the news. "Find Slade. I don't care what you do. I don't care who you work with. JUST FIND HIM. Kori and I will find Raven and Changeling and Cyborg, and start looking ourselves. Report back, if you find ANYTHING."
Richard presses a button and the screen goes black.

Saro sighed, then turned to his friend. "Listen, I know this is tough. But we have to do what boss-man says. Keep Shadow's chakra with you. ELLA! C'MERE! WE'VE GOT ORDERS! We're gonna turn Richard in, then hunt Slade. Got it?"

Ella looks over at Saro and Nods. "Understood, but isn't he Slade" Ella points at Richard and gives Saro a puzzled look.
