my ma went to new zealand. said it was nice, but she didn't notice if the toilets really did flush backwards. she was too busy base jumping and seeing the sites. pfssh. really? are base jumping and sites better than backwards toilets? i think not. anywho, my dream has always been to visit scotland and ireland, since that's where all my heritage lies. unfortuneately, i've never gotten the chance.  |

Well, when I was there, it was impossible to tell whether they flushed backwards - they pretty much just exploded. One of them was practically a volcano, it was so messed up.

Volcano? Uh... Are you sure that wasn't a bidet? J/J The reason that water spirals the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere is the Coriolis Effect. Because of the rotation of the earth, liquids and gasses are deflected in a clockwise motion in the norther hemisphere and in a counter-clockwise direction in the southern. I think the toilets going the opposite direction is a myth though... Toilets have jets to aim the water into the spinning motion and the Coriolis Effect isn't so strong that it counter-acts it.
Wow... That was a whole lot of usless information that no one needed to know...

I wouldn't come to our screwed up country, espeially ireland. d**n IRA, sure they say there disarming but that just as bullocks as saying every TT season that slade's dead and not coming back   |

I always wanted to go to Germany because I'm half German, but I've never left my country! I loved the Beast Within because of the last few moments with BeastBoy and Raven. I never noticed the little BeastBoy and Raven things that you all did, but I did notice how sad and worried he was, and how he always was by her.

America has already driven me insane. What did you all think made me the way I am? I want to move to Australia when I finish college (but then I might have to go to college again there, that's what sucks). I'm not gonna go political here and say all the things that bug me about this country, so let's just leave it at saying it bugs me.

This.Episode. ROCKS!! It gives Beastboy so much depth! Also, it has BBRae oozing from all angles of it!! Did you catch his expression when he found out he might have hurt Raven!? And the way his voice cracked in the end when asking her if he was the one who hurt her?! .. And Robin was such an uber- jerk in this episode! I mean, seriously, threatening (sp?) to put Beastboy in jail!?.. Grrrrr.. .. Anyway, as you can probably tell, I love this episode.. ;D |
